This information is used by the FCC to determine whether the public interest would be served by a grant of the requested license. A "direct owner" is an individual or entity that holds an immediate interest in the applicant. An "indirect owner" is an individual or entity that holds a 10% or greater interest in the applicant. The applicant is required to list any other FCC-regulated entities in which the owner has a 10% or greater direct or indirect ownership interest.
